Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy for Slinga Fitness

Terms and Conditions
1. Classes operate on a PAYG, flexi-10 block book & a fixed set of weeks blocking system (excluding promotion) 
2. a. The flexi-10 pre-booked sessions last 3 months, but you must pre book to save your place. They can be used across all the classes Slinga Fitness offers, excluding personal training, for any of them, no matter location, time, etc, as long as they are pre-booked. b. The single PAYG method requires classes to be pre-booked, and the same policies below apply
3. The fixed week blocks are booked in whole & cannot be shifted or transferred between the class formats, days, etc.
4. You are participating in the classes at your own risk, and wish to participate in activities that may include aerobic exercise, resistance exercise and stretching. You realise that your participation in these activities involves the risk of injury and even the possibility of death. Furthermore, you hereby confirm that you are voluntarily engaging in an acceptable level of exercise, which has been recommended to you.
5. You are confirming that you are over 6 weeks postpartum and have had a successful 6 weeks sign off from your doctor for both yourself and any babies involved. This is extended up to 10/12 weeks for those recovering from a C-section. Proof of this may be required in order to participate in physical activity with Slinga Fitness.
6. All baby/children involved in any manor, be it participating during babywearing or else present during the class is wholly the carer’s responsibility for their health, safety and wellbeing
7. All sensitive information received is entirely confidential and its whole purpose is to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all customers. Please refer to privacy policy
8. All data received will be stored in a password protected pc or in a lockable file; please refer to privacy policy
9. No refunds can be given for class bookings already used & those not yet taken including the 4-6 class blocks, the flexi-10 & PAYG options
10. In the circumstances you are not able to attend a class, you must inform Slinga Fitness (Maddy) giving more than 24 hours notice; if you do not, you will be charged for the session
11. It is your own responsibility to remember when you book a class; missed classes for whatever reason cannot be transferred and will be lost
12. Cancellation less than 24 hours notice will be charged for the missed class
13. A If Slinga Fitness is required to cancel a class for any reason, as much notice as possible will be given and you will not lose your session, and be able to move it to the next available session time that suits
13. B. Classes can only operate with a minimum number of participants. If this is not met then the class will be cancelled as is not financially viable to run. You can transfer to another class if suitable or other arrangements will be made
14. Safe ergonomic carriers will be provided on a first come, first served basis, and are your own responsibility during the session time
15. Only safe ergonomic structured carriers your instructor confirms they are happy for you to use can be used during classes; your own carrier is entirely your own responsibility during session time though safe usage checks will be carried out before and during the class times. NO carriers are to be used at the Fun, Fitness & Family Bounce sessions
16. If any circumstances change that may affect your ability to participate in the classes, Slinga Fitness must be informed immediately; a new PAR-Q and health check will be required
17. You accept that you must not download any material from our website or save any such materials to your own computer without permission from Slinga Fitness
18. This contract will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England

Slinga Fitness are committed to safeguarding the privacy of its customers, in this policy we will explain how we will treat your personal information
By confirming to pay and attending classes/sessions with Slinga Fitness, you are agreeing to this policy and consent to the use of our website cookies in accordance with the terms of this policy
Collecting your personal information
We may collect, store and use a variety of personal information, including, but not exhaustive;
- Information you provide when registering your interest with Slinga Fitness, including your email or social media contact
- Information you provide when you complete your PAR-Q and health checks
- Information regarding your service use of Slinga Fitness including class attended/timings, frequency, etc.
- Information relating to the purchase of the service you receive by Slinga Fitness, and any other transactions you may make with us, including card details
- And other personal information that you choose to disclose to us
Before you disclose personal information regarding another person, you must gain consent from that person for both the disclosure and the processing of that personal information in accordance with this policy

Personal information given to Slinga Fitness will be used for the purposes specified in this policy Slinga Fitness may use your personal information to;
- Provide a service to you
- Personalise your experience
- Send statements, invoices and payment reminders to you and collect payment
- Send you non-marketing commercial communication
- Deal with enquiries and complaints made by you or about you relating to Slinga Fitness
- Any other form of communication required by Slinga Fitness with your personal information that is required to enhance your customer experience
Slinga Fitness will not, without your express consent, supply your personal information to any third party for the purpose of their or any other third parties direct marketing

Slinga Fitness may disclose your personal information to any required body as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this policy

- To the extent that Slinga Fitness are required to do so by law

- In order to establish, exercise and/or defend our legal rights; including providing information to others for the purpose of reducing crime/health & safety of yourself and others
Expect as provided in this policy, Slinga Fitness will not provide your personal information to third parties
Retaining personal information
Personal information that Slinga Fitness processes will not be kept for longer than is necessary for its purpose
However, personal information will be retained to the extent we are required to do so by law, are relevant to any prospective/ongoing legal proceedings and in order to establish, exercise and defend our legal rights

Slinga Fitness will take reasonable technological and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alterations of your personal information
All your information personal information will be stored on a password protected computer and touch ID/pass-coded phone
You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet is inherently unsecure, and Slinga Fitness cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet
We may update this policy from time to time by publishing a new version on our website
You should check the pages occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes to this policy
We may notify you of changes to this policy via email

You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you, however we may withhold the information you request to the extent permitted by law
